Switching off the Gyro Compass

The gyro compass is switched off by switching off the power supply.

Caution!
 Maintenance and repair work should be carried out only
by trained and qualified staff who are well versed in
national safety regulations.
 After the gyro compass has been switched off it is
necessary to wait at least 15 minutes before accessing
the interior of the gyro compass.
Otherwise the gyro system could be damaged!
