INSTALL BAGGER MOUNT BRACKETS
1. Remove bumper from unit (figure 15).
CAUTION: Exhaust gases can melt plastic
grass bagger baskets and cause a fire hazard.
Make sure the exhaust gases vent to the side
and not directly on the plastic grass bagger
baskets.
2. On 992099 and 992101, cut off the muffler elbow at
a 45-degree angle so exhaust gases vent to the
side of the unit (figure 16).

3. Install trailer hitch (item 23) on bumper with four
3/8" x 3/4" round head square neck bolts (item 35)
and 3/8" top lock flange nuts (item 21) (figure 17).

4. Install bagger mount brackets (item 25) on trailer
hitch (item 23) with four 3/8" x 3/4" round head
square neck bolts (item 35) and 3/8" top lock flange
nuts (item 21) (figure 18).

5. Install bumper on unit (figure 19).
