Safety in respect of thermal overloads and electrical faults is guaranteed by two thermostats mounted on
the heating element bracket (one self-resetting, which cycles on and off to limit the temperature in the drum,
the other a one-shot overall safety device).

The temperature of the hot air blown into the drum is controlled by two sensors (NTC), front and rear, which
monitor the temperature during the cycle and inform the mainboard.
The drying quality and times are governed by a conductivity sensor that interacts with the two NTC sen-
sors and informs the mainboard as to the level of moisture and how far the fabrics have dried during the
programme.
