Pogo cover with guide pins: The pogo cover with guide pins enables you to attach the keyboard to your
computer magnetically.

TrackPoint
pointing device: The TrackPoint pointing device enables you to perform all the functions of a
traditional mouse, such as pointing, clicking, and scrolling.

Trackpad: The trackpad is a pointer-positioning device that enables you to point, select, and scroll, like
you do with a traditional mouse. You also can use the trackpad to perform basic touch gestures.

Special keys: The special keys provide quick access to certain apps and functions such as adjusting the
speaker volume.

Attaching the Thin Keyboard to your computer

Note: Depending on the module, your Base Module might look slightly different from the illustration in this
topic.
• For computers equipped with the Base Module:
The Thin Keyboard magnetically attaches to your computer as shown by bringing the two close together.
When the Thin Keyboard gets close enough, it aligns and snaps into place. You can easily remove the
Thin Keyboard by pulling it away.
