Base Module: The Base Module is detachable. If you need to install a feature-expansion module, remove
the Base Module first. See "Attaching the optional module to your computer" on page 27.
12 Pogo interface connector: Use this connector to attach to a supported keyboard.
13 Screw hole covered with a film (for ThinkPad X1 Tablet Gen 2): Depending on the model, a screw
might have been installed in the screw hole to secure the Base Module on your computer.
14 Security-lock slot: To protect your computer from theft, purchase a security cable lock to lock your
computer to a stationary object.

15 Left stereo speaker: The stereo speaker provides an immersive music and movie playback experience.

• Blinks three times: The computer is initially connected to a power source.
• On: The computer is on and in use.
• Off: The computer is off or in sleep mode.
