Note: Save the removed screw in case that you later remove the optional module and need the screw to
secure the Base Module.
If no screw is installed in the screw hole in the Base Module or if you are using a ThinkPad X1 Tablet,
skip this step and continue with the following.
2. Slide the release latch to unlock the Base Module and then remove it.
3. Lift the lock levers on the optional module and insert the optional module into the guide holes of your
computer. Ensure that the optional module is firmly attached to the module interface connector
