Using Programming/Edit mode

5.6.1

Creating a new program

To create a new program:
1. Press the
 The softkey menu appears.
2. Press the
 The control displays the next free program number.

3. Press the OK button to load the program number.
Or:
Choose a different program number using ▲/▼ or enter one

with the numeric buttons 0 – 9 and then press the OK button
(only free program positions are shown/accepted as numeric
entries).
 The following information is shown, and the P in the program
number field flashes:

Programming mode offers two options for creating new seam
programs:
• Creating a program using keyboard input,  p. 85.
• Creating a program using teach-in,  p. 87.
