After Operation Safety

General Safety
Clean grass and debris from the cutting units, mufflers,
and engine compartment to help prevent fires. Clean up
oil or fuel spills.
Shut off the fuel before storing or transporting the
machine.
Disengage the drive to the attachment whenever you are
transporting or not using the machine.
Use full-width ramps for loading the machine into a
trailer or truck.
Tie the machine down securely using straps, chains, cable,
or ropes. Both front and rear straps should be directed
down and outward from the machine.
Allow the engine to cool before storing the machine in
any enclosure.
Shut off the fuel before storing or transporting the
machine.
Never store the machine or fuel container where there is
an open flame, spark, or pilot light, such as on a water
heater or on other appliances.

Pushing the Machine by Hand

Important: Always push the machine by hand. Do not
tow the machine, because damage to the hydraulic drive
system may occur.
This machine has an electric-brake mechanism. To push the
machine, turn the ignition key to the R
battery must be charged and functioning to disengage the
electric brake.
Pushing the Machine
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the
blade-control switch.
2. Move the motion-control levers outward to the P
position, shut off the engine, and wait for all moving
parts to stop before leaving the operating position.
3. Locate the bypass levers on the frame on both sides of
the engine.
4. Move the bypass levers forward through the key hole
and down to lock them in place
Note: Do this for each lever.
5. Move the motion-control levers inward to the
N
position and turn the ignition key to the
EUTRAL
R
position.
