by the manufacturer. A charger that is suit-

a risk of fire when used with another battery
pack.

designated battery packs. Use of any other

away from other metal objects like paper-
clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other
small metal objects that can make a
connection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may
cause burns or a fire.

3 Special Safety
Instructions
Hold power tools by insulated gripping
surfaces when performing an operation where
the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its
own cord. Contact with a "live" wire will make
exposed metal parts of the tool "live" and shock
the operator.
Ensure that the spot where you wish to work is
free of power cables, gas lines or water pipes
(e.g. using a metal detector).
Slightly acidic, flammable fluid may leak
from defective Li-ion battery packs!
If battery fluid leaks out and comes into contact
with your skin, rinse immediately with plenty of
water. If battery fluid leaks out and comes into
contact with your eyes, wash them with clean
water and seek medical treatment immediately.
Do not recharge a fully charged battery pack!
Overcharging damages and shortens the life span
of the battery pack.
Protect battery packs from water and
moisture!
