Removal steps of the optical disk drive connector

Open the socket , and then pull out the optical disk drive cable
Remove two screws 3 , and then remove the optical disk drive connector in the direction shown by arrow
Step Screw (quantity)

M2 × 4mm, flat-head, nylon-coated (2)
When installing:
Ensure that the optical disk drive connector is firmly attached.

For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• "1010 Optical disk drive/Removable battery" on page 66
• "1020 Base cover assembly" on page 68
• "1040 Battery pack" on page 70
