Removal steps of the upper case
Release the antenna cable from the cable guides

When installing: Ensure that the upper case is attached firmly to the LCD unit.

For access, remove these FRUs in order:

• "1020 Base cover assembly" on page 68
• "1040 Battery pack" on page 70
• "1100 DC-in cable" on page 75
• "1110 Wireless-LAN /Bluetooth card" on page 76
• "1130 Speaker assembly" on page 79
• "1170 Upper case and LCD unit" on page 82
Removal steps of the LCD front bezel
Insert a pry bar into the inner side between the LCD panel and the LCD bezel, and then carefully pull the
LCD bezel outwards. Repeat this action along the inner edges of the LCD bezel until all the hooks that
secure the LCD bezel are detached
When installing: Ensure that the upper case is attached firmly to the LCD unit.
Remove the LCD bezel.
