2.2.3.1 Transceiver Installation

Use t he following st eps t o inst all a SFP m odule.

I nsert t he t ransceiver int o t he slot wit h t he exposed sect ion of PCB board facing down.
2 Press t he t ransceiver firm ly unt il it clicks int o place.
3 The Swit ch aut om at ically det ect s t he inst alled t ransceiver. Check t he LEDs t o verify t hat it is
funct ioning properly.
4 Close t he t ransceiver 's lat ch ( lat ch st yles vary) .
5 Connect t he fiber opt ic cables t o t he t ransceiver.

Rem ove t he fiber opt ic cables from t he t ransceiver.
2 Open t he t ransceiver 's lat ch ( lat ch st yles vary) .
3 Pull t he t ransceiver out of t he slot .
