Section 1 - Product Overview
The COVR-P2502 Hybrid Whole Home Powerline Wi-Fi System is a revolutionary hybrid networking solution comprised
of two COVR-P2500 Whole Home Powerline Wi-Fi Extenders. Each extender features a 1300 Mbps AV2 Powerline
backbone combined with powerful AC1200 Wi-Fi and uses your home's existing electrical wiring to transfer data through
a dedicated channel at high speeds. This allows the COVR-P2500 to bring the uncompromised, full potential of AC1200
Wi-Fi to any area in your home, offering true whole home coverage. With the COVR-P2502, D-Link has got you Covr'd.
• High-Power Wi-Fi - Most whole home Wi-Fi systems use multiple low-performance devices to disperse Wi-Fi
throughout areas of the home. Covr Powerline combines ultra-fast 1300 Mbps AV2, MIMO, and AC1200 Wi-Fi
together with your existing router to create a seamless whole home network of blazing-fast speed throughout
your home, even in the most hard-to-reach places.
• Smart Roaming - The Covr Wi-Fi System creates a single, seamless wireless network throughout your entire
home using a single wireless network name (SSID). This means that once you connect, your connection is
maintained seamlessly as you and your wireless device roam throughout your home, allowing you to experience
an uninterrupted connection without buffering, drop-outs, or dead spots.
• MU-MIMO Technology - Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) sends and receives data to and
from multiple devices simultaneously to increase speed and efficiency. Your laptop, tablet, media player, and game
console can all be sending and receiving data at the same time, with no need to wait in turn, allowing you to get
more out of your home Wi-Fi network than ever before.
Maximum wireless signal rate derived from IEEE Standard 802.11a, 802.11g, 802.11n and 802.11ac specifications. Actual data throughput will vary. Network conditions and
1
environmental factors, including volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, and network overhead, lower actual data throughput rate. Environmental
conditions will adversely affect wireless signal range.
