Section 3 - Configuration
The Extender page allows you to configure Covr-specific and extended
Wi-Fi settings. From here you can choose the existing uplink network, set Covr
features, and configure basic settings for the extended Wi-Fi network.
In the Settings menu on the bar on the top of the page, click Extender.
Existing Network
Existing Network:
Indicates if the uplink is connected by either Ethernet or Powerline.
Covr Wi-Fi System
Status:
Indicates the status of the seamless Covr Wi-Fi system. This feature
cannot be disabled.
MU-MIMO:
Click to enable or disable Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output
(MU-MIMO). Enabling this feature will allow the extender to
communicate with multiple devices at once for faster and more
efficient throughput. It is recommend to leave this feature enabled.
Extended Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi Name (SSID):
Enter a name for the extended Wi-Fi network.
Password:
Create a password to use for wireless security. Wireless clients will
need to enter this password to successfully connect to the network.
Schedule:
Use the drop-down menu to select the time schedule that the
Wi-Fi network will be enabled for. The schedule may be set to Always
Enable, or you can create your own schedules in the Schedule
section. Refer to Schedule on page 28 for more information.
