6. The handle should lie flat on the panel with the
handles facing inward. Press firmly to secure.
This step must be done before stowing the cover.
7. Fold the cover forward.
8. Remove the retaining strap from the bow. Connect
the retention buckle ends. One end is located on
the front of the tonneau cover behind the cab and
the other end is on the tonneau cover
9. Pull on each strap to make sure both buckles are
attached.

Removing the Tonneau Cover

1. Open the cover by following the procedure
described previously, under Opening the
Tonneau Cover .
2. Disengage the locking tabs, located on the front
handles, by pulling them rearward.
3. Turn the handles inward to release.
4. Pull the clamp down and turn the assembly to
disengage it from the lip of the truck box.
5. Turn the cover to expose the handles.
