    Here are some situations that can occur with the fuel gage. None of these indicate a problem with the fuel gage. At the service station, the fuel pump shuts off before the gage reads full. It takes a little more or less fuel to fill up than the gage indicated.
  • Page 108 The passenger safety belt reminder light is by the passenger airbag status indicator. When the engine is started this light and the chime come on and stay on for several seconds to remind the passenger to fasten their safety belt. The light also begins to flash.

When the vehicle is started, the passenger airbag status indicator will light ON and OFF, or the symbol for on and off, for several seconds as a system check.

    Use the DIC buttons located in the center of the instrument panel to access different displays. The DIC displays trip, fuel, vehicle system information, and warning messages. It also shows the shift lever position, the odometer, and the direction the vehicle is driving.
  • Page 121 This display shows the current distance traveled, in either kilometers (km) or miles (mi), since the last reset for the trip odometer. The trip odometer can be reset to zero by pressing the trip reset stem while the trip odometer display is showing.
