ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, AC GENERATOR
AC GENERATOR
CHECKING THE CHARGING COIL
The testing can be done without disconnecting the AC
generator from the engine.
Remove left side cover. (<:>2-21
Disconnect AC generator from 3P coupler.
Measure resistance of the yellow terminal of coupler on the
engine side.
Termina'·Connection: yellow to yellow
Standard Value: 0.1 to 1.0

If resistance value is abnormal,
replace. the
stator:.

If there is continuity between yellow terminal and body ground,
