TROUBLESHOOTING
Inspect the following before diagnosing the system
-Spark plug cap, high tension cord cQnnections defect
-Water in the spark pll'g cap
-Ignitinn ~vstem
coupler
connections defect
No sparks in spark plug
Check starter motor function. (t:!>16-3)

Measure primary voltage at ignition coil.

Standard value! more than 100 V

Remove COl unit coupler connection.
Measure pulse generator peak voltage at COl unit
coupler harness side. (0:>,.5-7)
'Terminal connection: blue/yellow
(+)
to green H
Standard value: O.7V or greater
