High Intensity Discharge
(HID) Lighting
Warning
The High Intensity Discharge
(HID) lighting system operates at
a very high voltage. If you try to
service any of the system
components, you could be
seriously injured. Have your
dealer or a qualified technician
service them.
After an HID headlamp bulb has
been replaced, the beam might be a
slightly different shade than it was
originally. This is normal.

Front Indicator Lamps

To replace the turn signal bulb:
1. Open the bonnet. See Bonnet
0 203.
For the driver side, the upper
surface of the air induction
baffle blocks access to the
indicator lamp socket. The
baffle can be bent out of the
way allowing access to the
socket.
2. Locate the indicator socket
bulb on the inboard side of
the lamp.
3. Turn the bulb socket
anticlockwise to remove it from
the headlight assembly.
4. Pull the bulb straight out from
the socket.
5. Push the new bulb into the
socket and reinstall the socket
into the headlamp assembly by
turning it clockwise.
