Understanding Galaxy Dimension control panel integration

The Security Center Intrusion Manager role integrates Galaxy Dimension control panels into
Security Center for centralized monitoring, control, and reporting.
The integration allows you to do the following:
Map Galaxy Dimension control panels to Security Center intrusion detection units.
Map groups of inputs and devices on the control panel to Security Center intrusion
detection areas.
Attach cameras to intrusion detection areas to view recorded video associated with events
and alarms from the panel.
Monitor the connection between the Security Center server and the Galaxy Dimension
control panel using the heartbeat monitoring feature.
Create event-to-actions for events that are sent from the control panel.
Create custom events that can be used in event-to-action configuration.
Receive events and alarms from the control panel, and monitor them in Security Desk. For
more information about monitoring intrusion detection events in Security Desk, see
"Monitoring events" and "Monitoring alarms" in the Security Desk User Guide.
Monitor intrusion detection area state changes in real-time in Security Desk. For more
information about monitoring intrusion detection areas, see "Monitoring events" in the
Security Desk User Guide.
Receive live notifications on input state changes in Security Desk. For more information
about monitoring intrusion detection units, see "Monitoring events" in the Security Desk
User Guide.
Manually arm and disarm the intrusion detection areas defined on your intrusion panel in
Security Desk using the Intrusion detection area widget. For information about the
commands available in the Intrusion detection area widget, see "Intrusion detection area
widget" in the Security Desk User Guide.
IMPORTANT
intrusion detection area widget, delay arming is not supported.
Trigger intrusion alarms on intrusion detection areas in Security Desk. For information
about triggering intrusion alarms, see "Trigger a hot action" in the Security Desk User
Guide.
Monitor the status of intrusion detection units and intrusion detection areas in real-time,
using the System status task. For mor information, see "System status" in the Security Desk
User Guide.
Generate reports on activities related to intrusion detection areas. For more information,
see "Intrusion detection area activities" in the Security Desk User Guide.
Generate reports on events related to intrusion detection units. For more information, see
"Intrusion detection unit events" in the Security Desk User Guide.
