TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

CAUTION: This equipment may require qualified service personnel for proper repair. Contact your dealer for
service.
PROBLEM
1.
Heater not functioning.
2.
Water not reaching set
temperature.
3.
Water not clean
4.
Abnormal water usage.
5.
Low water flow from jets.

PROBABLE CAUSE
A. Heater mode not selected.
B. No power to heater.
C. Thermostat set lower than
water temperature.
D. High temperature safety
switches tripped.
E. Abnormally low water flow.
F. Heater relay not operating.
G. Heater element failure.
A. Inaccurate thermometer used.

A. Clogged or blocked suction
strainer or skimmer basket.
B. Filter clogged (dirty).
C. Poor water chemistry.
D. Insufficient filtering time.
E. Improper maintenance.
F. High contents solids in water.
A. Leak in suction line, discharge
line, or connections.
B. EvaporAtion; temperature too
high.
A. Normal operation in FILTER
mode.
B. Plugged strainers.
C. Dirty filter.
D. Suction of discharge line par-

E. Pump running at subnormal

REMEDY
A. Select HEATER/FILTER mode.
B. Check house circuit breaker and
GFCI.
C. Turn to desired temperature.
D. Reset button on heater after water
has cooled. See *Note below, if
switch continues to trip.
