8. Connecting I/O

Caution:
Only use shielded cables for connecting sensors to MelcoREMOTE, to reduce the possibility of interference
with radio communications services. Using shielded cables ensures that you maintain the appropriate EMC
classification for the intended environment.
All shields must be tied to an appropriate Earth point within the installation panel.

8.1. Connecting Inputs

For all input types Belden 8760 type cable is recommended.

8.1.1. 0-10V Inputs

The maximum cable length for 0-10V inputs is 250m. This represents a deviation of < 1%.
