Fan Headers
This serverboard has eight system/
CPU fan headers (Fan 1-Fan 6, Fan
A-Fan B). All these 4-pin fans headers
are backward compatible with the tra-
ditional 3-pin fans. Fan speed control
is available for 4-pin fans only. The
fan speeds are controlled by Thermal
Management via IPMI. See the table
on the right for pin definitions.
Chassis Intrusion
A Chassis Intrusion header is located
at JL1. Attach an appropriate cable
from the chassis signal an intrusion
when the chassis is opened.
Internal Speaker
The Internal Speaker (SP1) can be
used to provide audible indications for
various beep codes. See the table on
the right for pin definitions.
Standby Power Header
The +5V Standby Power header is lo-
cated at JSTBY1 on the serverboard.
See the table on the right for pin defi-
nitions. (You must also have a card
with a Standby Power connector and
a cable to use this feature.)
