Resolustion
Specify the resolution to be notified to a system or application from the print driver. When the print driver notifies the
system or application of the printer resolution, if the value of the notified resolution is high, an error may occur
depending on the application. In this case, you can solve the error by changing the resolution to be notified of.
Select [600dpi] when notifying 1200 dpi causes problems such as the rendering coordinates are miscalculated or the
fine lines are not rendered.
[1200dpi] is available when [Image Quality] is set to [High Resolution] on the [Color Options] tab.

Modify Dash / Dot Lines of Output
Set this feature to [On] if dash or dotted lines are printed as solid lines.

NOTE:
• Depending on the application, this may not function effectively. Lines printed as solid lines until now may be printed as dash or
dotted lines.
Color
Specify whether to print PostScript print jobs generated by the print driver in color or black and white.

ICM Method
Specify whether to perform ICM processing when printing a color document.
• [ICM Disabled] *
Disables ICM processing.
• [ICM Handled by Host System]
Enables the computer to calculate the consistency of the color of print data before it is sent to the printer.
• [ICM Handled by Printer]
Enables the printer to calculate the consistency of the color of print data. In this case, the color allocation rule is
created in the computer and downloaded to the printer. Based on this rule, the printer calibrates the document
color. This option is available when PostScript Language Level is 2 or higher.
• [ICM Handled by Printer using printer calibration]
Select this if an allocation rule is already downloaded to the printer that calculates the consistency of the color
of print data. In this case, a color allocation rule is not newly created in the computer.
NOTE:
• The items in [Output Color] on the [Paper/Output] tab and the items on the [Color Options] tab cannot be specified when items
other than [ICM Disabled] are specified.
ICM Intent
Specify the type or objective of images to be printed when using ICM processing.
• [Graphics]
Select this when printing graphs and other documents in vivid colors.
• [Pictures] *
Select this when printing documents such as photographs or pictures in mixed colors.
• [Proof]
Select this if the printer has specific inks used in a document and you wish to exactly match the ink colors
between the two.
• [Match]
Select this to preview the color settings from other machines.
