Color Options Tab Settings
This section describes the settings in the [Color Options] tab.
NOTE:
• You can restore defaults by clicking [Defaults].
• Settings
Output Color
Specify the color mode. Select [Color] or [Black and White]. When selecting [Black and White], even pages in which
color is used are printed in black and white. The result of a setting change is reflected on the image at the left. You
can also click this image and change the setting.

Image Quality
Specify image quality for printing. Select [High Speed] to print quickly irrespective of the image quality. Select [High
Quality] to print fine lines, etc. Select [High Resolution] to print in high resolution.

Lightness
Specify the lightness of colors printed throughout the document. You can adjust in 11 levels within the range of [-5] to
[5].
Basic Features
This feature automatically sets the color correction of RGB images according to the object printed. However, this is
not available when [Output Color] is set to [Black and White]. [Basic Features] is selected automatically as default.
Advanced Features
You can set the color adjustment of RGB images of documents. However, this is not available when [Output Color] is
set to [Black and White]. [Basic Features] is selected automatically as default.
