OmniSwitch 6860 switches use four (4) power supply types:

Non-PoE PSU
OS6860-BP-D 150W DC
Non-PoE PSU
OS6860-BP-PH 600W AC
PoE PSU
OS6860-BP-PX 920W AC
PoE PSU
OmniSwitch 6860 power supplies are located at the rear of the switch chassis. Refer to
Chassis Details" for more information on component locations. Two slots are provided. If a second power
supply is installed, it will assume a standby role.
Please note that the OS6860 does not provide an on/off switch. Connecting an installed power supply to a
power source will boot the switch. Likewise, disconnecting all installed power supplies from a power
source will power off the switch.
