% Accepted
Percentage of accepted acoustic receive signals.
ADC Buffer %
The percentage of full scale as measured from the Analog to Digital Converter Buffer for the
digitized acoustic receive signal. The degree of digital averaging (or stacking) will influence
this variable.
AGA-8
The AGA8 function is used to calculate the compressibility factor of natural gas and related
hydrocarbon gases. The internal AGA8 lookup table provides for the actual gas density and
compressibility factor (Z Actual) for the indicated pressure and temperature. These values
are then used to compute either mass flow rate or standard volume corrected flow rate.
ALC
[Automatic Level Control]. Amplifier Gain setting that responds to varying receive signal
amplitude. 0% is maximum gain and 100% is minimum gain.
Burst/Sec
A measure of the number of transmits per second for each acoustic channel/path.
Channel
A measurement channel represents a physical up/down set in a transit-time system. A
channel could be a single path in a multi-path (or multi-beam) flow meter or individual pipes
of a multi-channel flow meter.
Correlation Q
Quality of correlation between the upstream and downstream receive signals. Ranges from 0
to 1, where 0 indicates perfect correlation and 1 indicates ambiguous or poor correlation.
Delta-time (uSec)
Transit-time difference between upstream and downstream receive signals.
