The shoulder section of the seat belt must
always be routed across the center of the shoul-
der. Adjust the belt sash guide if necessary.
To raise: slide the belt sash guide up.

The belt sash guide engages in various posi-
tions.
To lower: pull release button ? and slide the

belt sash guide down.
Let go of release button ? in the desired
X
position and make sure that the belt sash
guide engages.
All seat belts except the driver's seat belt are
equipped with a special seat belt retractor to
securely fasten child restraint systems in the
vehicle. Further information can be found under
"Special seat belt retractor" (
Seat belt for the center rear seat
G
WARNING
When the three-point seat belt for the center
rear seat is not in use, it may be thrown
around while driving, e.g. when braking or in
an accident. There is a risk of injury.
When the three-point seat belt for the center
rear seat is not in use, always secure both belt
buckle tongues in the retainer.
