conscious. We design and
manufacture consumer
products with the safety of you,
our valued customer, foremost
in mind. In addition we ask
that you exercise a degree of
care when using any electrical
appliance and adhere to the
following precautions.

FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
• Remove and safely discard
any packaging material,
plastic power plug cover,
and any removable labels
before using appliance.
• Do not place the appliance on
or near a hot gas or electric
burner, or where it could touch
any other source of heat. If the
appliance is to be:
- left unattended
- cleaned
- moved
- assembled; or
- stored
unplug the unit from
the power outlet.
• Close supervision is necessary
when this appliance is
used by or near children.
• Fully unwind the power
cord before use. Do not
allow the cord to hang over
the edge of a countertop
or to become knotted.
• To avoid electric shock,
do not immerse the cord,
plug or motor base in
water (or other liquids).

HAND MIXER
• This hand mixer is fitted
with an self-restting internal
overload to protect the Motor.
• If the motor stalls or stops,
the Motor overload may
have engaged. Unplug
the unit and allow it to
cool for 10-20 minutes.
• Avoid contact with moving
parts. Remove attachments
(beaters, dough hooks, whisks)
from mixer before washing.
• Keep hair, clothing, utensils,
hand and fingers away from
rotating or moving parts.
• Only use attachments supplied
by Breville for your specific
unit. The use of attachments
not sold or recommended
by Breville may cause fire,
electric shock or injury.
• Always ensure the proper
attachments are fitted securely
in place before turning ON
and operating the unit.
• Flashing light indicates
ready to operated. Avoid any
contact with moveable parts.
• It is recommended to regularly
inspect the appliance and
power cord. Do not use the
appliance if there is damage to
the power cord or plug, or after
the appliance malfunctions or
has been damaged in any way.
Immediately stop use and call
Breville Consumer Support.
• Do not use in any type of
moving vehicles. Do not use
the appliance outdoors, or
for anything other than its
intended use. Household use
only. Misuse can cause injury.
• Do not connect the appliance
to an external switch or device
(such as a timer, monitor
or remote circuit) that can
be switched on and off.
• If the appliance is to be:
left unattended, cleaned,
moved, assembled or stored,
always switch the unit
OFF and unplug the cord
from the power outlet.
• This appliance has a polarized
plug ( one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug will fit
in a polarized outlet only one.
If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit contact a
qualified electrician. Do not
modify the plug in any way.
