Fixed Type Hard Disk Drive
This section describes installation procedure for optional fixed type hard disk drive.
1.15.1
Installation
Install fixed type hard disk drive in the following procedure.
1.
Refer to steps 1 to 7 in Chapter 2 (1.3 Overview of Installation and Removal) for preparations.
2.
Secure a hard disk drive to HDD tray of
3.5-inch Fixed HDD cage using four screws.
3.
Secure the HDD tray with hard disk drive to
the server using two screws.
4.
Install hard disk drives starting from bottom
bay.
Important
Do not use unsupported hard disk drive.
Important
To maintain cooling efficiency, install HDD trays to which no hard disk drive
is mounted.
