Paper jams in the duplex unit
(error codes: 370, 371 and 373)

Pinch and lift the jam release lever of the
duplex unit to open the duplex unit cover.

Pull out the jammed paper.
If you can not see the jammed paper, close the
duplex unit cover. Then the jammed paper is
ejected automatically.

When the jammed paper cannot be ejected
even with the duplex unit cover closed, turn
off the printer.
Before removing the duplex unit from the printer,

Keep the duplex unit lifted and pull the
jammed paper, check the duplex unit for
remaining jammed paper.

The cassette cover becomes detached when the
duplex unit is removed.
