[ 3 ] Powering failure (Nothing appears on the LCD.)

When driven by dry cells:
Are the specified
dry cells loaded?
(Alkaline dry
cells: LR03)

Are the dry
cells loaded with right
polarity?
Y
Is the machine hung up?
N
Are the positive and
negative terminal ASSYs
broken?
N
Replace the dry cells with new ones
and press the key.
Power supplied?
N
Replace the main PCB ASSY and
regulate the motor speed.
(Refer to Chapter III, Section 3.2,
PRINT1 submode.)
Pressing the key does not turn
the machine on; nothing appears
on the LCD.

Replace them with the
specified ones.
N
Correct the loading
direction.
Turn the machine off. While holding
Y
down the Function and R keys,
press the
machine.
Y
Replace the main PCB ASSY and
regulate the motor speed.
