Feed the document through the scanner.
Exposes the original to light from the xenon lamp.
Illuminates the document.
Feed the document through the scanner.
Allows one page into the scanner.
Feeds the document into the scanner.
Spreads out the leading edges of the pages fed into the
scanner.
Picks up pages of the document from the document
table.
Focuses light reflected from the document onto the
CCD.
This converts the light reflected from the document into
an analog video signal.
Thermal paper for printing.
Allows more light through from the ends of the xenon
lamp than from the center, to counteract the relative
dimness at the ends of the lamp.
