CAUTION
Internal memory is not backed up by a battery.
If the QD51 (-R24)'s power is turned OFF, the BASIC program written to it and
the data in the buffer memory, etc. are erased. Therefore, observe the following
(1) and (2).
(1)
Save the created BASIC programs in a flash ROM before turning the power
off.
The following functions stop during a flash ROM update.
• Communications with external devices
• Communications with the programmable controller CPU
• Execution of the BASIC program
• Time measurement of the timeout processing
It is recommended to update the flash ROM before any of these operations
and do not update during the operations.
It may take one to two minutes to update the flash ROM.
(2)
Transmit data of the buffer memories, etc. to a latched device in the
programmable controller or to a file register.
