Determining If the Calculator Requires
Service
Use these guidelines to determine if the calculator requires service.
If
these procedures confirm that the calculator is not functioning prop-
erly, read the section
If the Calculator Requires Service
starting on
page 165.
• If the calculator won't turn on (nothing is visible in the display),
replace the batteries. The instructions for replacing batteries start on
page 185.
If replacing the batteries doesn't restore the display, the
calculator requires service.
