This chapter describes the battery (how to connect and charge)
and how to connect the clip to the back of your portable.
Your portable is supplied with a high capacity nickel metal
hydride (NiMH) battery.
Note: An alarm sounds when there is less than 15 minutes
calling time left in the battery.
Attach the battery to the portable as shown in the
figure below
Note: Because the status of a newly received battery is
uncertain, always charge it to ensure that you have sufficient
talk and standby time.
