    Before using the DT288 the first time you have to charge and connect the battery, see section “Installation”. Note: Place the DT288 in the charger and charge it for at least 3 hours before using it the first time. PIN CODE Your portable is initially provided with a pre-set PIN code, you should change this code to prevent misuse.
