    • For MD301C / MD310G, a graphic card that supports 2048 x 1536 or 1536 x 2048 is required. Intended use The MD series displays are intended to be used in displaying and viewing digital images (excluding digital mammography) for review and analysis by trained medical practitioners. These devices cannot be used in digital mammography and life-support system.

    How to assemble your monitor hardware • If the computer is turned on you must turn it off before continuing. Do not plug-in or turn-on the power to the monitor until instructed to do so. • The following illustrations are for your reference only. The location and available input and output jacks may vary depending on the purchased model.
  • Page 17 3. Connect the PC video cable. (MD210G only) Do not use both DVI-D cable and VGA cable on the same PC. The only case in which both cables can be used is if they are connected to two different PCs with appropriate video systems.
  • Page 18 Connect USB devices via other USB ports (downstream) on the monitor. These downstream USB ports transmit data between connected USB devices and the upstream port. See picture on the right. 5. Connect the power cable to the monitor. Plug one end of the power cord into the socket labelled on the rear of the monitor.

    Locking and unlocking the OSD control keys You can lock the OSD control keys to prevent the settings from being accidentally changed. 1. Go to Setup > OSD lock. 2. You are provided with 2 kinds of OSD lock. Mode 0 allows you to select a input source, while Mode 1 allows you to access different user profiles.

    Recommended use For optimum performance, please note the following when setting up and using the LCD monitor: •Do not open the monitor. There are no user serviceable parts inside and opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous shock hazards or other risks. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
  • Page 42 Caution •Allow adequate ventilation around the monitor so that heat can properly dissipate. Do not block ventilated openings or place the monitor near a radiator or other heat sources. Do not put anything on top of monitor. •The power cable connector is the primary means of detaching the system from the power supply.

    Cleaning Warning If you dropped any material or liquid such as water onto the monitor when cleaning, unplug the power cable immediately and contact your dealer or the nearest service center.
