Problem

Appliance does

pressed buttons/

Possible cause
Power plug (19) is not
connected properly.
Volume is set too low.
Volume is muted.
When using the connection
through the 3.5 mm
LINE IN socket (8): settings
at the source device are not
correct.
Inserted CD is dirty or
scratched.
Bad Bluetooth reception.
3.5 mm audio cable is not
inserted correctly.
FM antenna (20) is not unrolled. Unroll the FM antenna (20) for best reception.
Mono playback.
Battery empty or not correctly
inserted.
Distance between appliance
and remote control is too big.
Audio source is switched off.
Bluetooth is switched off at the
audio source.
Appliance is not paired to the
audio source.
Volume too low.
Malfunction due to electrostatic
discharge.
solution
Check if the power plug is properly connected to
the wall outlet.
Increase the volume level.
Press MUTE (34) to resume the sound.
Ensure that the external source has correct
volume settings and is playing a track.
Clean the disc with a soft cloth or insert another
CD.
Shorten the distance between the Bluetooth
device and the appliance and make sure no
obstacles are disturbing the connection.
Ensure that the connecting 3.5 mm audio cable
is correctly plugged in on both devices and plugs
are fully inserted.
Press sT/MoNo (33) key to switch to stereo
mode.
Check that the battery is correctly inserted or, if
necessary, replace.
Reduce the distance between the remote control
and the appliance and make sure there are no
obstacles between them.
Aim the remote directly at the appliance.
Switch on the audio source.
Switch on the Bluetooth function of the audio
source.
Check whether a connection still exists. If
necessary, pair the appliance again to the audio
source.
Increase the volume on the appliance and/or on
the audio source.
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
Connect the power plug (19) again to an
electrical outlet.
