IMPoRTaNT saFETY INsTRUCTIoNs

Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance. It contains important information for
your safety as well as operating and maintenance advice.
1. Observe all safety instructions to avoid damage through improper use! Follow all
warnings on the appliance.
2. Keep this instruction manual for future use. Should this appliance be passed on to a
third party, then this instruction manual must be included.
3. only use this appliance for its intended use. The appliance is not suitable for
commercial use. This appliance is only suitable for household use. Do not use the
appliance outdoors or in the bathroom.
4. No liability for any damage that occurs can be accepted in the event of improper use or
incorrect handling.
5. Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the power supply
voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the
appliance rating label.
6. Never use a damaged appliance! Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet
and contact your retailer if it is damaged.
7. Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. In case of
malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
8. Warning! During cleaning or operation do not immerse the electrical parts of the
appliance in water or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running water.
9. The appliance should not be used near water – for example, near a bathtub, wash bowl,
kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool.
10. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not
touch the power plug with wet hands.
11. Do not open the appliance casing under any circumstances. Do not insert any foreign
objects into the inside of the casing.
12. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could
pose a safety risk to the user and might damage the appliance. Only use original parts
and accessories.
13. The appliance is only suitable for use at moderate degrees of latitude. Do not use it in
the tropics or in particularly humid climates.
14. Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open flames. Always operate the
appliance on a level, stable, clean and dry surface. Protect the appliance against heat
and cold, dust, direct sunlight, moisture, dripping and splashing water.
15. Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance. Do not place objects with open
flames (e.g. candles) on top of or beside the appliance. Do not place objects filled with
water (e.g. vases) on or near the appliance.
16. Do not cover the appliance's air vents. Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. Keep a
minimum distance of 5 cm between the appliance and other objects or walls.
17. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or by those who lack experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision and instruction concerning the use
of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
18. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
19. This appliance is classified as protection class II.
20. The appliance is a class 1 laser product. This appliance works with a collimated laser
beam. When the appliance is open and the safety breaker is disabled, this beam could
be a danger to your eyes. The appliance has a protective measure that will prevent the
beam from coming out. These safety measures must not be damaged.
21. Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the
manufacturer or its service agent.
