Never spray cabinet with a high pressure garden hose
for any reason since this action may induce an elec-
trical short in the spa's electrical equipment.
Cleaning the Control Panel
To clean, simply wipe control panel with a micro-fiber cloth that
is used for cleaning polycarbonate lenses.
Vinyl Cover Care and Maintenance
Your Jacuzzi cover has a vinyl encasement. This vinyl encasement
is attractive and durable. Monthly cleaning and conditioning
To Clean and Condition the Cover:
1. Use a garden hose to loosen debris and dirt.
2. Using a large sponge or a soft bristle brush, use diluted or mild
soap and scrub the vinyl top. Rinse clean and do not allow soap
to dry on cover. Do not use soap on the underside of the cover.
3. Please check with your Jacuzzi Dealer about purchasing
Jacuzzi's cover care and conditioning products. Condition using
non-petroleum based conditioners to keep the vinyl supple and
threads/stitching from drying out. Do not use solvents, abrasive
cleaners or strong detergents. Do not use products that contain
silicone or alcohol.
Additional Care and Maintenance Instructions:
1. Debris can accumulate on the spa cover. Removal of snow
or other debris will help to avoid breakage of the foam cores.
2. Be sure to lock the cover straps to secure the cover from
unwanted or accidental entry.
3. Do not place heavy objects on the vinyl.
4. Do not walk, sit or stand on the cover.
5. Do not drag or use the flaps/skirt or the cover lock straps to
remove the cover.
6. Use only recommended cover lift systems.
7. Use only chemicals and cleaners recommended by Jacuzzi.
8. Remember to keep spa covered when not in use. Maintain-
ing proper water levels assures efficient operation and efficient
electrical usage.
9. Do not expose your spa to the sun for extended periods of
time as UV rays can damage the interior surface.
10. Use caution when removing cover. Before removing cover,
assure all locks have been released to avoid lock breakage and
or cover strap damage.

Winterizing

I
Your Jacuzzi
®
Premium spa is designed to automatically pro-
tect itself against freezing when operating properly.
I D
uring periods of severe freezing temperatures, you should
check periodically to be certain that the electrical supply to the
spa has not been interrupted.
I
In extreme, bitter cold weather we recommend that the cir-
culation pump is set for 24-Hour operation (Section "Program-
ming The Primary Filter Cycle") and that auto-heating is selected
(Section "Auto-Heating") to protect against damage to the spa.
I
During the periods of non-use and/or prolonged interruption
of electric power during periods with very low temperatures it
is important that all of the water is removed from the spa
and protect against damages that freezing may cause.
For expert winterization of your spa, contact your author-
ized dealer.
In emergency situations, damage can be minimized by taking the
following steps:
- Disconnect the spa from the electric mains.
- Follow the directions for draining the spa.
- Turn the massage/diverter selector(s) into the middle combo
position (A) to allow the water in the plumbing lines to drain

- Turn the waterfall valve to the open position to allow the water in
the plumbing lines to drain.
- As the water level drops below the seats, use whatever means
necessary to get the water out of the recessed seating areas and
into the footwell, such as a wet/dry vacuum.
- Open all the air controls and leave them open until you resume
use of the spa
- When the water level ceases to drop, use whatever means
available to remove any remaining water from the footwell, such
as a wet/dry vacuum.
- Remove the equipment-side cabinet panels and locate the
drain plugs in the front of each pump (Figure 6.0a, page 14).
Remove these plugs to allow the water to drain out of the pumps
and heater.
Note: Approximately one to two gallons will be released dur-
ing this procedure. Use a wet/dry vacuum or other means to
keep this from flooding the equipment compartment. Replace
the drain plugs.
- Loosen hose clamp at bottom of heater and pull hose off of
heater fitting (twist the hose back and forth while pulling down-
ward). Tip hose down and allow it to drain and then reinstall
hose and clamp.
- Loosen the hose clamp on the circulation pump (if equipped)
intake behind the control box and pull the hose off (twist hose
back and forth while pulling outward). Tip hose down and allow
it to drain and then reinstall hose and clamp.
- Loosen hose clamp at bottom of CLEARRAY® system and pull
hose off of CLEARRAY fitting (twist the hose back and forth
while pulling downward). Tip hose down and allow to drain. Then
reinstall hose and clamp. Remove the cover of the CLEARRAY
system to access the UV bulb and quartz tube. Remove and
store the UV bulb in a safe location. Remove and dry off the
quartz tube then reinstall it. Depending on the length of time, con-
sider replacing the UV bulb when you resume use of your hot
