Open the side and front covers.

When the printhead becomes worn or damaged, it can easily be
changed. The series of pictures below describes how to fit a re-
placement printhead.
IMPORTANT!
After completing the physical installation, it is important that the
printer is instructed to measure the resistance of the new printhead
and adjust itself accordingly. This can be done by sending the fol-
lowing instruction:
PRINT HEAD(-1)
Another method is to start up the printer in the Test Mode, see "Print-
ing Test Labels" at the end of Chapter 3 "Operation".
Failure to adjust the printer to the printhead resistance may result
in inferior printout quality or premature wear-out of the printhead.
