3. HOW TO OPERATE

3.7 CARPET CLEANING

After attaching Power Nozzle, set the floor
selector to the proper setting for your carpet
type. Reference the "Power Nozzle" section
under "How to Operate" for carpet settings of
power nozzle. (pg. 8)

3.8 HARD FLOOR CLEANING

The Hard Floor Brush is recommended for
vacuuming wood, laminate coverings and ce-
ramic floor surfaces. Power Nozzle may also
be used for hard floor cleaning by simply
setting the Floor Selector to Bare Floor.
NOTE: In Bare Floor mode, brushroll will
automatically shut off.

3.9 EDGE CLEANING

Guide side of Nozzle parallel to edge of
carpet or furniture as shown

3.10 STAIR CLEANING

Clean stairs from bottom to top.
NOTE: Take extra care when vacuuming
stairs. Do not store canister in vertical posi-
tion.
