7 OPERATION

7.3 OPERATING PROCEDURE _____________________________________________

1. Do not start the engine with the OPC system engaged.
2. Do not operate the machine or attachments with loose, damaged or missing components. Mow when the
grass is dry
3. First mow a test area to understand the operation of the machine and control levers.
NOTE: To prevent damage, to the reel and bottom blade. Do not operate the cutting cylinder while the machine
is stopped. Friction will cause damage between the bottom blade and reel. The cutting edge will be lost.
4. Inspect the area to find the best and safest operating procedure. The height of the grass, terrain and the
condition of the surface change the machine performance and safety. Adjust the machine and operation to
these conditions.
5. Do not direct the discharge of the material at persons, do not allow any person near the machine while in
operation. The owner/operator is responsible for injuries caused to persons and damage to property.
6. Be careful when you mow near gravel areas (roadway, parking areas, cart paths). Stones discharged from
the mower can cause injuries to persons and or damage the equipment.
7. When you move across paths or pavement, disengage the drive motors and lift the cutting cylinder.
Be careful of traffic.
8. Stop and inspect the equipment for damage after you hit an obstruction. If the machine begins to operate
in an irregular way, have the equipment checked and repaired before you continue to operate.
