Repair of valve seat

If a valve seat is found defective, reface or replace it.

0.5 mm [0.0197 in.]

CAUTION
a. When checking valve sinkage, the valve guide
must be in the normal condition.
b. Resurface the valve seat so that it contacts the
mid-portion of the valve face.
