Balancing the Machine

Loosen the screw (3).
N
Move the carrying ring (2) up or
N
down the shaft – tighten the screw
moderately – let the machine go and
wait until it comes to a rest – then
check the balanced position.
When the correct balanced position has
been reached:
Tighten down the screw on the
N
carrying ring firmly.
FS 360
The unit is balanced differently
depending on the cutting attachment
used.
With the unit suspended from the
N
harness, see how it is balanced and
change the attachment point as
necessary:

Balanced positions
Mowing heads, grass cutting blades and
brush knives and shredder blades
should just touch the ground.
Circular saw blades should "hover"
about 20 cm above the ground.

Stop switch with Run and Stop
positions. Depress the stop switch
(...) to switch off the ignition.
Function of stop switch and ignition
system
The stop switch is normally in the Run
position, i.e. when it is not depressed:
The ignition is switched on – the engine
is ready to start. Operate the stop switch
to switch off the ignition. The ignition is
switched on again automatically after
the engine stops.
