MAINTENANCE

CLEANING THE RAILS
During use, the rails will become dirty preventing the table
rollers from rolling smoothly. Be sure to wash off and wipe
clean the rails often.
CLEANING THE SAW
 Unplug the saw.
 Empty the dirty water from the water tray and replace
with clean water.
 Connect the saw to a power supply and turn the pump
to position II.
 Run clean water through the saw flushing debris through
the tube and around the cutting wheel.
 Unplug the saw and water pump.
 Remove frame and sliding table from the saw.
 Once the frame and sliding table have been removed,
use a garden hose to rinse the rails, water tray, base, and
WSUV
stand.
 Empty dirty water from the water tray and dry off the tool.
 Replace the drain cap. Tighten securely.
CLEANING THE PUMP
 Unplug pump before handling or cleaning the pump.
 Remove the front cover.
 Using a small brush and/or water, clean any debris or
trash that is trapped on the inside of the pump.
NOTE: To maintain efficiency and extend the life of the
pump, check intake screen before use to make sure it is
clean.
 Rinse filter with clean water
If the pump will not run, try the following solutions:
 Ensure that the intake screen is free of obstructions.
 Make sure that the water hose isn't clogged or knotted.
 Be sure the unit is plugged into a functioning power outlet
and the pump is plugged into the electrical plug.
 Be sure there is adequate water in the water tank and
that the pump switch is in position II.
NOTE: Do not handle the pump while it is connected to a
power source.
STORING THE SAW
See Figure 61.
 Unplug the saw and water pump.
 Remove water tray extensions and sliding table extension.
 Close the WSUV
stand.
 Secure sliding table extension to side water tray extension
using elastic strap.
 Fit the side water tray extension between center brace
and water tray. The front of the side water tray extension
should be facing the water tray as shown.
 Place the rear water tray extension onto the WSUV
and secure with elastic straps.
