Laboratory equipment

Items with wide necks, e.g. beakers, wide necked Erlenmeyer flasks
and petri dishes, or cylindrical items, e.g. test tubes, can be cleaned
and rinsed internally and externally by rotating spray arms.
To do this the items are positioned in full, half or quarter inserts and
placed in an empty mobile unit with a spray arm.
Items with narrow necks, e. g., narrow-necked Erlenmeyer flasks,
round-bottomed flasks, measuring cylinders and pipettes, require in-
jector units or injector modules.
The injector units and modules come with their own operating in-
structions.
When loading please note:
– Place petri dishes in the appropriate insert with the soiled side fa-
cing towards the centre.
– Place pipettes with the pointed end facing downwards.
– Quarter segment inserts should be positioned at a minimum 3 cm
distance from the edge of the mobile unit.
– Position quarter segment inserts for test tubes around the centre to
leave the corners of the mobile unit free.
– If required, use a cover net to avoid breakages.
