CAUSE/ACTION
• Check the telephone line.
• Check the connection of power supply
plug.
• Check the telephone cable provided.
• Check the telephone line.
• Check the volume of the ringing tone.
• Check if the telephone number of the
caller is registered in the blacklist.
• Check if memory is full.
• Delete messages.
• Print out documents.
• Make sure that silence during recording is
not prolonged more than the 6-sec. limit.
• The voice of the caller is too soft and
detected as no sound.
Caller hangs up the phone without talking.
Check if the telephone line cord is
disconnected.
Check the telephone line cord.
• Try transmission by adding '-'.
• Set [OVERSEAS COMM.] to 'ON'.
Check if the documents are placed
correctly for transmission.
• No recording paper at receiving end.
• Press [STOP] button.
