Adjust spring preload with
adjustment rings 1 and 2.
Lock adjustment ring 2 with
onboard toolkit.
To loosen locking, turn ad-
justment ring 1 counter-
clockwise with onboard
toolkit.
To increase spring preload,
turn adjustment ring 2
clockwise.
To decrease spring preload,
turn adjustment ring 2 coun-
terclockwise.

setting
With OE Sport suspension:
187 lbs (85 kg) (Full tank of
gas, with rider)
6.2 in (158 mm) (Spring length
(rear wheel not loaded))
Adjusting rebound-stage
damping for rear wheel
Make sure the ground is
level and firm and park the
motorcycle.
Adjust rebound-stage
damping on adjustment
ring 1.
To increase rebound-stage
damping, turn adjustment
ring 1 counterclockwise.
